Mustang, have you bought Rocket League yet? You should add it to your pickup list.

Battlefield 1942 is supposed to come with the collector's edition of BFBC2. Supposed to be a free download although I think the DLC is no longer available. I might play some of that this afternoon. Anyone interested to join me?

I haven't seen the trailer for battlefield 1 yet. Honestly, I have had a lot of fun replaying through the 1st mass effect for the 4th time in a row with the same character in a row.

Recycled Titles

Post by SonicBlaze41 on Sun May 22, 2016 5:31 pm

Haven't seen either trailer. Unlike you and Mustang, I don't have an Xbox One. (Not for lack of desire, just lack of paycheck funds.) I don't really have much time either. When I play titles now like COD or Battlefield, it feels like I have played them all with slight variations. Just because they can make money launching "new" titles of games each year, doesn't mean it's going to be fresh and fun to play. Recycled titles are all I've seen for years now. Which brings me back around to owning an Xbox One. What's the point in having one when I can play the same games that are just slightly older versions than the "new" versions with add-on's at the click of a button.

What do you think, Mustang?

Battlefield 1 Vs COD

Post by Captain Pkmn on Sat May 21, 2016 11:34 pm

Anybody see the Battlefield 1 trailer? Are you excited? What are your thoughts? I feel like they are going to make it like what everybody hopes it to be, and then they're going to put tons of Pay-item junk just like they did in Halo 5. That what my gut feeling is telling me. Other than that, I'm pretty excited to see what it will turn out. Call of Duty release information made me angry. Guess what it is? A RECYCLE of Advance Warfare. Not kidding. If you pay more for the extra, they will throw in a Remastered Call of Duty 4. You know what stupid? IT NOT STANDALONE! You have to buy the 'Infinite Warfare' new game in order to get Cod 4 remastered! How stupid is that!!! Any way, If I do get Infinite Warfare, you'll know what I'll be playing the most though.

Re: Video Game Pickups for 2016

The biggest problem with Destiny is that Bungie quit working with 343 on Halo games and tried to go off on their own. Destiny got so much hype because they were promoting it for a year before it was even released and completely flat lined when it came out. Only people who are naive and don't know a good game when they play one are still playing it and buying the DLC. Let's not forget about all of the 40 year old men who still live with their parents and get millions of dollars to be alive. Some extra content for a game is okay. (Fable 2, for example) But I agree with you captain that it's all about money nowadays as opposed to creating a great video game. Goldfish and I were talking about that, too. Back in the Sega days, the video game creators literally made their games because it was their dream to do so, not because they were going to get a fat paycheck if they created a number one selling game as fast as they could. That's another reason I'm holding off on upgrading to the newer gen systems. Nothing keeps my interest more than "crappy" games of the past that no one knows about.

Doesn't that bother you...?

Post by Captain Pkmn on Sun Apr 03, 2016 10:56 pm

Doesn't that bother you that games nowadays are like rising up to 80 dollars or more- just so that you can have some of the DLC and 'Bonuses'? I don't like that one bit. Not at all. Fallout 4 season pack already risen up to $50 dollars! Just $10 more dollars and that like buying a whole new game! So ridiculous. Really disappointing and sometimes the game isn't even what you think it is... I could be just another Destiny money making scheme.

I saw that some of them are dropping to $299. Still out of my price range but its getting closer. The only game I would get is Halo 5.

IF you do get an xbox one, YES you better get an external hard drive. The 500GB hard drive will get filled up very quickly. I know bc I own one and have one.

Xbox free games

Post by Captain Pkmn on Fri Apr 01, 2016 3:32 pm

Okay. I'm sorry but... not really. Microsoft and EA should get a room together. Okay. Let me tell you why. They have Deadspace for free and you know what funny? On the Xbox One, if you try getting it via Backward Compatible- even though it free- You can't get it (it says that it not available!). You have to buy a EA membership in order to get it!!! HOW STUPID IS THAT?! But that isn't half of it!
If you get on the Xbox 360, You can get the Deadspace game for free with no strings attached. Isn't that grand? Then what funny is, if you go back onto your Xbox One... There it is in the Download LIBRARY list! So, microsoft is telling me that it not available but yet... it is? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I feel bad for all those people who got rid of their Xbox 360.
Any way... I got Deadspace and I got the Wolf among us game too... for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cheers
